Class Descriptions:

•  TPWD Boat Texas Course - (8 hr class---$25): 

This beginner boating class will give you the knowledge needed to obtain a boat license or safety certification in many states. Many boat insurance companies will offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete About Boating Safely.

Boat Safety Equipment
Safe Boating, Jet Skis
Navigation
Boating Problems
Trailering, Storing and Protecting Your Boat
Hunting and Fishing from boats, Water-skiing and River Boating

(This is an "in-class” course, no on-the-water training)

  Paddler’s Guide to Safety Course - (2 hour class---$10)     (Class Start Time: 9:00am) 

What you should know before you go!  A Paddler’s Guide to Safety

This course provides basic safety information for people who use paddlecraft, including canoes, kayaks, and stand-up boards. It does not include water time or teach how to paddle.
