Today’s U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, with 26,000 volunteer men and women, is a unique force that carries out an array of responsibilities touching almost every facet of the U.S. maritime environment.
When you join the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, you could find yourself saving lives, protecting the environment from polluters, guarding our shores and inland waters from terrorists, teaching recreational boaters how to boat safely, inspecting vessels for voluntary federal and state compliance, and much more. That's volunteer life in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. We don't just train. We train and perform.
Our Flotilla is looking for motivated individuals who want to volunteer a portion of their time in serving our country and the recreational boating community in eastern Nebraska. For more information about the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and its many missions, activities and benefits, visit the Auxiliary Recruiting website.
