My name is Mark Stypinski and I am the FSO-IS. I was previously the FSO-IS and SO-IS in the Eighth Eastern District. I attended the AUX10 C school in Seattle Washington to learn all about information services. I have been in the Auxiliary almost ten years. My job is to input all of your mission effort into AUXDATA correctly and on a timely basis. In order for me to do my job i need accurate and timely forms from you the members. If you have any concerns on what form to use or how to use a form please let me know, I am here to help.

My primary responsibility as Flotilla Staff Officer - Information Services (FSO-IS) is to oversee the collection and review of data about member and flotilla activities, and to record that data in the national AUXDATA electronic database system. That system captures the performance of Auxiliary members in more than 60 mission activities that support Coast guard missions. The FSO-IS also provides periodic up-dates on mission performance to flotilla and division leaders, conducts training in the use of activity reporting forms and methods, and assists flotilla members in resolving issues with missing or erroneous performance data.
