Purchasing Uniforms

The other pages in this section provide a basic overview of the
components and proper wear of the Auxiliary's most common uniforms. For a
full and detailed description of proper uniform wear, please consult
the Coast Guard Uniform Regulations and the Auxiliary Manual (AUXMAN).
Coast Guard Exchange (Online or On Base)
The primary source of most uniform items will be through the Coast Guard Exchange. The online store can be reached at www.shopcgx.com. You will need to register and log in to the website with your Auxiliary ID in order to purchase items.
Items available include:
- Tropical Blue, Service Dress Blue, ODU and HWU uniforms;
- Trench Coats, Foul Weather Parkas, Windbreakers, and Sweaters;
- USCG Auxiliary tapes and name tapes;
- AWU trousers;
- Garrison, Combination and Ball caps;
- Shoes and boots;
- Shoulder Boards, Officer devices.
Coast Guard Exchange (In Person)
As an Auxiliarist, you can access Coast Guard Exchanges on the various Coast Guard bases with your Auxiliary ID. Availability of certain items may be limited depending on the local exchange that you visit. Here are a listing of the Coast Guard Exchange stores within driving distance of our AOR.

Coast Guard Auxiliary Association (Auxiliary Center)
The Auxiliary Center or AUXCEN is an association dedicated to assisting and supporting the Coast Guard Auxiliary. The AUXCEN offers uniforms, USCG pride items, Operational items and Public Education materials.

Sign Explosion LLC
Sign Explosion LLC is the only resource for acquiring the new AWU shirt. They carry both the short sleeve as well as long sleeve version. This is also the place to obtain the new bright orange paddlecraft jersey.
