Members of Flotilla 15-04, 15-09 and 15-10 gathered at the USS Slater (DE 766) in Albany to celebrate the 224th Anniversary of the US Coast Guard and the 75th Anniversary of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. The USS Slater is the last World War II Destroyer Escort still afloat in the US and has just returned from dry dock in Staten Island. Members were joined by Coat Guard veterans from the Slater and the crew of the USCG Cutter WIRE (WYTL 65612).

JULY 2013 DIVISION PICNIC AND MEETING - CROWN POINT NY
(Photos:Charles Poltenson)
Our summer picnic and Division Meeting took place at the Pavilion at Crown Point Historic Site on July 27, 2013. The weather was excellent and all participants had a great time. Between the line toss, trivia and some excellent food, there was the opportunity to socialize and talk with other members of the Division we might not see very often.
Lynn Enny, Terry Tremblay and Peggy Burgess work on swiftly answering questions during the trivia quiz. In the background is Jeff Burgess.
Margaret Malone led the trivia quiz asking questions ranging from history to VSC's.
Lee Townsend (right) and Lynn Enny provide commentary on Terry Tremblay's line toss while the peanut gallery looks on from the Pavilion.

conclusion of the great food and games, Division leadership got down to
the summer meeting. Here, Division Commander Lynn Enny listens to Carl
Duford, Flotilla Commander of 15-8 as as he makes his report.
