Ensure we maintain the World's Best Coast Guard Auxiliary Emergency
Management response while maintaining a highly trained, professional, and
ready all volunteer work force.
MISSION
Fully implement the Incident Management program and provide alignment
with the active duty forces of the U.S. Coast Guard. Define and provide appropriate
qualification standards for Incident Command Systems and Emergency
Management & Disaster Response support.
THE WORK WE PERFORM
- Ensure Auxiliary-wide alignment with USCG Incident Command System standards and compliance with applicable Emergency Management policies in conjunction with COMDT-OEM.
- Develop & implement Auxiliary policies and guidelines for EM and preparedness activities.
- Oversee development of CG AUX ICS-related Job Aids, training, and team coordination.
- Support impacted Districts during national and regional events including identification of ICS qualified AUX members from outside the impacted District.
- Manages the coordination and training of IMACC support.
