BOSN Grimm is currently assigned as the Operations and Training Officer for the District One Auxiliary South Region supporting more than 2,600 dedicated uniformed volunteers ensuring consistent high safety standards and complete integration with Coast Guard operations. He oversees the training, qualification and documentation of more than 500 boat crew members and over 200 operational facilities.

CWO4 Jason Grimm enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in 1997 and is a native of Manistique, Michigan. He has served over 24 years at boat forces units, including command tours at Station Lake Tahoe and STANT Kenosha. Previous operational ashore units include Coast Guard Station Grand Haven, STANT St. Ignace, and consecutive tours at Sector New York. He also has two afloat tours on CGC CHEYENNE and CGC AQUIDNECK in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
