  26--03  FLOTILLA COMMANDER  - STAN SIONSOWKSI

Coast Guard Auxiliary has a long history of Semper Paratus which means “Always Ready” and our first motto is “We save lives”.  Our Flotilla can receive orders from the Coast Guard at St Ignace to do patrols on Higgins and Houghton Lake. We  have assisted boats in distress on both  Higgins Lake and Houghton Lake.   Our Flotilla also works along side the Marine Patrol Division of the Roscommon Sheriff's Office. In addition to our on-water activities, our flotilla members also work with various local businesses (partners) in promoting water and boating safety.  Members of the flotilla also provide FREE safety inspections of all types of water craft. 

IF YOU ARE A PERSON WHO LIVES, OR VISITS IN OR AROUND  ROSCOMMON COUNTY AND ARE INTERESTED IN SERVING YOUR COUNTRY AND YOUR COMMUNITY THOUGH VOLUNTEERING IN SUPPORT OF THE COAST GUARD MISSION.   FLOTILLA 26-03 IS ACTIVE IN BOATING, AVIATION AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS AND EDUCATION MISSION OF THE COAST GUARD.
