The Unit – Flotilla 2 was originally positioned in Division 14 of the 2nd District.  Later, the district merged with a neighboring district and became the 8th District, Western Rivers (colloquially referred to as 8WR).  Division 14 merged with Division 33.

The Uniforms – Khaki was the original color of the Auxiliary uniform until 1975 when the Auxiliary changed to the "Bender Blue" uniform that is still in use today.
