Boats 'N Kids: This is an interactive course, not a PowerPoint-driven course designed for kids 6 - 11 years of age. It can be taught to any large or small group including schools, youth groups, youth camps, seminars, etc. The focus is on boating safety tips such as how to enter and exit a boat safely, how to fit a life jacket, what to do if the boat swamps or capsizes, basic rules of the road, and other safe boating and emergency tips. The course is self-contained. Lesson plans, course material suggestions, marketing suggestions, letters of introduction to schools and youth groups, thank you notes, and other useful materials are all included in the download. This can be an excellent introduction to boating safety for children, and a gateway to having the kids talk to their parents and other adults about boating safety.
