Jim Kreyer – Married to Pauline for 42 years, Have 2 Daughters & 5 Grandchildren. I was Born in Minnesota, raised in California, Joined the U.S. Navy in 1963 and was stationed on U.S.S. Sea Leopard a WWII submarine (1964-1967). Lived in Connecticut for 25 years, we moved to Florida in 1994, I am now working as the assistant county surveyor for Pasco County and am planning to retire in September and then I want to spend time on my new boat.

Rosemary Zabinski - Born in East Vandergrift, Pa, suburb of Pittsburgh. Got tired of the weather up north and decided it was time to move to Florida. This was my lifelong dream. Came here in March 1999 and never went back to Pittsburgh. I brought my daughter and son-in- law and we all share a house in Holiday. I still work full time and probably will continue to work full time for many years to come. Received Bachelor's degree in Radiographic Technology from LA Roche College in Pittsburgh, Pa. Specialty is healthcare. I perform Cat scans (CT scans), x-ray and basic MRI procedures. Joined USCG AUX just a few years ago and being boat crew is exactly what I needed to do with my life. I really love being out on the water. How much more perfect can it be to just look out on the horizon and see the blue sky and the water meet. Florida is perfect for me.

Ronald John Dell was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. He had an interest in aviation in high school and attended Burgard Vocational HS for Aerospace Engineering. He was drafted into the U. S. Army. He went to airborne paratrooper school and then was sent to Vietnam. After returning back home from being wounded in combat, he attended SUNY College at Buffalo and graduated with a B. S. Degree in Criminal Justice. Tough economic times led Ronald to join the U. S. Navy where he served a 4-year tour of duty as an Electronic Gunfire Control Technician (FT). After that the U. S. Air Force offered him a commission, so he served as an Administrative and Executive Support Officer for a technical training school that taught weapon technology and safety. During that time, he attended school for another B. S. degree in Computer Information Systems. Now he lives in Tampa Bay, Florida where he retired from the U. S. Air Force. Since, Ronald has joined the Coast Guard Auxiliary as a volunteer so he could make a difference and serve in yet a fourth service branch. Ronald has earned the Presidential Volunteer Service Award and the Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation. Ronald enjoys his current job as a Communications Services Officer (website management). He is responsible for administering and managing a website review project as a branch chief and instructing security awareness training to his volunteer members in the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Roger Anderson - I am your new Vice Commander and looking forward to serving all of my brothers and sisters in the flotilla. In the past I have served as the Aton Officer, Radio Watchstander Officer, Operations Officer, and Finance Officer twice. I will need your help this year to do a good job! I have a daughter who is a Paramedic and married to a Coast Guard Officer...they are stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. Beside my daughter, you all know my better half...Trixie. For twenty plus years, my daughter and I were involved in horses...not boats. My experience as a sailor was nil. When I move to this area, I decided that if I was to be on the water, I'd better know what I was doing. So I joined the Auxiliary and took all of the courses. I had the privilege of joining when we had the greats...Gene Brooks, Frank Florio, Leon Scicchitano, Pat Cole, Dave Chute, Paul Smith, Bob Ayers, and others.

Gary W. Dickinson born in the Pacific Northwest.  An avid sailor and businessman.  In addition to his first novel "Reflections" 2008, he has written numerous articles and now makes his home in Hudson Florida. Gary grew up on the Columbia River in Washington State and was introduced to boating at an early age.  His family owned a boat rental business on Lake Sacagawea where he gained experience with row boats, canoes, paddle craft and the power boat that was used to retrieve rental boats.

His love of sailing began at Boy Scout camp on Spirit Lake at the base of Mt. St. Helens. The lake is no longer there but the thrill of sailing and memories of sunny days spent on the water are still alive. He went from sailing a fourteen-foot sailboat on that lake to building a twenty-six-foot center cockpit sloop from a pile of lumber. His first big adventure on that boat, was an eight-month cruise sailing the Pacific Coast
alone from Washington state to Mexico.  This adventure is chronicled in the book "Reflections".

In 2004 he purchased a 2000 Macgregor 26X sailboat from a professional magician in Las Vegas.  The magician of course named that vessel "Magic".

Having this type of boat opened up a new world of adventures for him, now having a boat that he could trailer easily.  He now was able to trailer this new boat to distant cruising areas and have incredible adventures.

"Magic" has traveled more than fifteen thousand miles over the road and thousands of miles more on water.  One of the adventures that "Magic" allowed was a cross country trip from Washington State to Florida and back.  Cruising the Florida Keys and Bahamas for five months produced many more memories and lifelong friends.

Gary continues to write numerous articles published in East and West coast magazines and is blessed to be able to share his adventures and the skills he has learned with others.
