Flotilla 3-8 What's New!

On January 18 2025, the Division 3 Change of Watch was held at Salvatore's in Lawrence, MA where various members of Flotilla 03-08 were in Attendance. Also in attendance from the Coast Guard were CAPT Dave O'Connell, the First District Northern Chief of Prevention, CDR Tyler Kelley, Director of Auxiliary Northern District, LCDR Jessica Hull, Sector Boston Auxiliary Liaison, CWO3 Elijah Reynolds, Operations Training Officer of First District Northern, and MCPO Carlos Hessler, OIC of Station Merrimack River.

On February 1, 2024, At the monthly Flotilla meeting, newly elected Flotilla Commander Steven Tudal presented Immediate Past Flotilla Commander Commodore Ron Booth with a special recognition for his years of service and commitment to Flotilla 013-03-08. The Plum Island Boat House where the Flotilla meets will now be named the Commodore Ronald Booth Boat House. The smaller plaque was awarded at this meeting, and a larger one will be mounted inside the boat house during a more formal ceremony.
