Division 3 What's New!
National Safe Boating Week May 17-24, 2025
Division 3 held a vessel safety check event on May 17th, at the Cashman Park boat ramp in Newburyport, MA. While the weather kept most boaters away, our vessel examiners managed to perform 9 safety checks. Several boats were found to be missing important safety gear, and failed their inspections, giving them an opportunity to acquire the needed safety gear, or fix issues that caused the failure, thus insuring a safe boating season for them this year. Educating boaters on the updated laws for MA, and the federal laws in general, this was a great kick-off to National Safe Boating Week.
