USCG Auxiliary Occoquan-Fairfax Flotilla Coxswains and Boat Crew are providing expert instruction to new members seeking qualification.
Boat Crew and Coxswain candidates receive first aid instruction from an EMT-certified shipmate.
As part of the Boat Crew program, candidates need to master Search and Rescue (SAR) basics.
Crew and Coxswain candidates also need to demonstrate night proficiency. Here, a pre-underway brief is conducted.
All Crew and Coxswains and those seeking to be qualified have to participate in an annual operations workshop.
