Join us to enjoy hearing from our Guest Speaker for the evening, Marty Loken, proprietor of Island Boatshop, Nordland, on Marrowstone Island, and light refreshments 

"The Simple Joys of Small-Boat Cruising" (Pocket Yachters and Traditional Small Craft Association - TSCA); relating his experience at age 75 training, researching tides and currents, testing different boats and otherwise planning to finish the Puget Sound inaugural SEVENTY48 race in June 2018. 

 

Marty is the Associate Editor of Small Craft Advisor magazine; event organizer for the Port Townsend Pocket Yachters; recent Past President of the national TSCA - Traditional Small Craft Association - and longtime builder and restorer of small boats.
