USCG Aux Software Engineering Geocode Utility Test Program

This package utilizes Yahoo's YQL geocode API (free) to geocode any address, or find the distance between any two zipcodes, any two addresses, or any address and a zipcode.

The geocoding of pure zipcode will return only the lat/lon, but also the city, state, county, and country. The geocoding of city, state will return the main zipcode.

The addresses can be any reasonably constructed addresses (non-ambiguous) and the results are not limited to the United States.

Enter one address to test the geocoding; enter two addresses to test the distance features.

To calculate the distance between two zipcodes, simply enter the zipcodes in the address boxes.
