Flotilla Commander Jason Fink
Welcome to the Flotilla Commander web page.
Mr. Jason Fink is the Whittier Flotilla Commander for 2023. Mr. Fink joined the Auxiliary in June of 2019 and became a Flotilla Staff Officer in 2019 and was elected Flotilla Commander for 2023. He has served as FSO-PA. He has assisted Sector Anchorage in the Emergency Management Office.
Mr. Fink served on Active Duty in the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller. He is a volunteer Firefighter and EMT with the Chugiak Volunteer Fire Department since 2019. He currently has 7.5 years in the Volunteer Fire Service.
Mr. Fink and his wife, Jessica, moved to Anchorage, Alaska in February of 2019 for his job, and they have been married for just over 22 years and been together for just over 24 years. They have no children, except their puppy Blueberry, a husky/Shar-pei mix.
Mr. Fink loves to learn new skills, and is working on becoming boat crew qualified as well, learning and getting checked off in Marine Safety. He has a servant's heart and will help out where he can
Our flotilla is 52 members strong. Our programs are actively managed by 17 Flotilla Staff Officers. Join our flotilla if you are interested in serving the Coast Guard or getting more from your boating in Prince William Sound. We offer training and leadership opportunities for those interested.
