Division One Flotillas and DetachmentsAuxiliary Division One encompasses the entirety of US Coast Guard Sector Juneau's area of responsibility.

Coast Guard Sector Juneau is a multi-mission unit based in Juneau, Alaska. The command consists of approximately 250 active duty, reserve, and civilian members with ten field commands and detachments. Sector Juneau's personnel, under three main departments, Prevention, Response, and Logistics, provide a vital Coast Guard presence in four strategic Southeast Alaska communities, and conduct operations in over 20 remote areas and native villages on over 2,000 islands and 10,000 miles of shoreline.

Sector Juneau is located in the Tongass National Forest, the second largest rain forest in the world. This vast and complex area of responsibility is teeming with critical resources, habitats and communities dependent on maritime infrastructure, safety and security. With limited resources Sector Juneau developed very effective partnerships with local, state, federal, tribal stakeholders and industry to deliver a high level of service.

Division one provides the personnel and expertise for the USCG's 4th component, the Coast Guard Auxiliary. With over 80 uniformed, civilian volunteers staffing outlying flotillas and detachments, we provide a valuable on-call resource for Sector Juneau and the U.S. Coast Guard.
