What We Do

 CGAUX Boat

In addition to our normal patrols, our Safety Patrols participate in events including the Long Bridge Swim, Priest River Regatta and other boat races around the Inland Northwest.

When in use as patrol boats, Auxiliary facilities display the PATROL signs on their sides. Members always wear uniforms when on official patrols.

The Area of Responsibility for Flotilla 87 includes Lake Pend Oreille, Priest Lake and the Pend Oreille River to the Box Canyon Dam.

Fellowship is an important part of all flotilla's. We have get togethers at different times of the year.

 BS&S Class

Community education is a big part of what we do. Our flotilla conducts the Boating Skills & Seamanship (BS&S) class each year.

 CGAUX Kids Class

We also work with the local schools during their Safety Days and other events. We teach kids how to be safe around the water while also getting them interested in boating activities.

We strive to maintain good relations with other local, state and federal agencies.
