The Division (130-08) was recently recognized for its 60th Year of Service in the USCG Aux.

Kathy Goodwin had the privilege of serving as crew on Auxiliarist Brad Nielsen's OPFAC during the 23-25 July 2021 Columbia Cup Hydroplane Races held in Kennewick, Washington.  The purpose of our patrols were regatta safety zone support which included intercepting numerous recreational boats and jet skis speeding towards the upper anchor line.  Please see the photos found below showing an active duty boat traveling under the blue bridge, Brad Nielsen's facility with Linda Severin and Kathy Goodwin onboard, photo of Brad at the helm with the Cutter "Wahoo" (PATCOM) in the background, Linda holding the Slow-No Wake/Stop sign keeping the anchor line safe, and a spectacular photo of Brad's facility, surrounded by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and Benton County Sheriff's boats with the Cutter "Wahoo" in the background.  The Hydroplane Races and Air Shows were spectacular and the USCG, Coast Guard Auxiliary, and numerous agencies working together conducted a safe and memorable event.
