USCG 225th Birthday


Florence Mayor Joe Henry reads a proclamation commemorating the 225th birthday of the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) on Aug. 4 to Senior Chief Tim Tregoning of the USCG Station Siuslaw River and USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 52 Commander Bob Graves at the Florence City Council meeting on Monday night. Twelve active duty service men and auxiliarists attended the meeting, during which Henry designated Aug. 4 as Coast Guard Day in Florence.
