Our flotilla has a long history of members who are both active and effective in their service. Flotilla 4-2 (130-04-02) and its members have been recognized for excellence by the U.S. Coast Guard at District and National levels.
Since 2007 our Flotilla has won outstanding unit awards in District 13 four times, National Outstanding Unit in 2009, and National Auxiliarist of the Year in 2008. Flotilla 4-2 won national first place awards for Recreational Boater Safety Program Visits in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Other District 13 awards and recognition have included District Auxiliarist of the Year, District Operational Support, Member Training, Vessel Safety Examinations, Program Visits, Human Resources, and Public Affairs.
Flotilla 4-2 members include the immediate past District 13 Commodore, former Chief of Staff, District Captain, Division Commanders, Sector Coordinators and District Staff Officers. The efforts and dedication of our members testify to our tradition of service.
