WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR APPLICATION

1. You will receive your member number giving you access to Auxiliary website training

2. You will be in a 90 day probationary  period. This may start with your first meeting attendance. During this period, you are expected to complete the US Coast Guard Auxiliary mandatory training. This is all online, and consists of two FEMA certifications and   HR related courses.

3. Once you have completed the mandated training ,  and your 90 day probation, you will be authorized to wear the uniform.

You may then focus on what trainings you would like to pursue ( Crew, Navigation, etc ) We recommend that ALL new members first  receive their Vessel Examiner certification. This is an online course and field training. Vessel Exams are a major part of our mission in Nevada.
