Vessel Safety Check Overview

The US Coast Guard Auxiliary and our partners in the Vessel Safety Check program the United States Power Squadrons welcome you to this special group of pages that can result in your becoming a safer boater. Vessel Exam

Visit the "Virtual Safety Check" page and do a self-evaluation of your own boat, this is just between you and your boat to insure you are ready to have one of our volunteers near your ZIP Code, come out and give you a Vessel Safety Check.

You may then ask for a Vessel Examiner using the "I Want a VSC" menu selection and by entering your ZIP Code, you can make contact with a local volunteer near you for an actual Vessel Safety Check! We will come to where you are or make an appointment at your boat location!

If you have Questions, ask on the Questions & Answer page and we will respond to you on that page or via e-mail, whichever is appropriate for your Question.

Members of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and US Power Squadrons can also find a lot of good information in the many links on this site. Your questions can be answered through the Member Q & A and find a lot of information under the "USCGAux V-Department" as well as the "Job Aid Kits" menu selections to your left.
