  Examinations for NASBLA Approved Courses
(ABS or BS&S) are REQUIRED to include a STATE law test

National Association of State Boating Law Administrators require these classes to include state law, and to include it in the test.  The course examination instructions will explain how to include these questions, and what constitutes a passing score. The students may need to write their state answers on the answer sheet since some exams use alpha identified answers rather than numbers, or have more choices than the answer sheets. Each set of questions, federal and state, must be passed independently of the other.
