District 11NR Membership Process

How to Join                  New Member Deck                  Human Resources    

JOIN the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, volunteers for Team Coast Guard
   Contact and/or visit a local flotilla
Membership requirements:
       Complete New Member Course - Student Study Guide 2011
               Note: Exam and Instructor Guide may be ordered by MA or elected leader
                                              ANSC Catalogue
               Using Auxiliary Manual  or  New Member Reference Guide 2010
               Successfully complete open booExamination

          Submit requirements below for Personnel Security Investigations (PSI)

   Submit the following documents to Office of the Director of the Auxiliary  

  • ANSC 7001  Enrollment Application  
  • Consent to Membership
  • PSI Package Checklist
  • Per Checklist, attach:  
  • New Member Course Exam Answer Sheet
  • Fingerprint cards (2)
  • Photo if requesting ID Card
  • Boating safety course completion certificate for requesting Basic Qualification (BQ) 
  • Status if planning to become qualified in operations, or BQ may be achieved later
