Boat Wake

As Americas Volunteer Lifesaver's of Death's Door. We are the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla, Washington Island, Wisconsin.

Death's Door, the legendary passage between lake Michigan and the bay of Green Bay is known for the numerous shipwrecks from the previous century. Today the beautiful waters around Door County are home to sailboats, kayaks, fishermen and cruising boats making "the Great Loop". Members of the flotilla participate in many of these activities. The flotilla also conducts safety patrols, boater safety classes and vessel safety inspections.

We are the volunteer lifesavers for the Death's Door passage. We are the Coast Guard Auxiliary on Washington Island. You can become a volunteer lifesaver by joining the Coast Guard Auxiliary on Washington Island. For more information about the flotilla come to one of our meetings, or contact the Flotilla Commander listed on this site.
