Vessel Exams

Vessel Exams consist of a voluntary fifteen point vessel exam to assure the boater that all required safety equipment is on place. This includes distress signals, personal flotation devices, vessel condition, proper ventilation, pollution control placards and other necessary safety. If the vessel complies with all 15 requirements, the vessel will be awarded this year's Vessel Safety Check Sticker. If the vessel does not comply, the volunteers of the U.S. Coast Auxiliary will guide the vessel owner in the steps needed to fulfill the requirements and will be happy to perform another exam at a later date.
