Greetings from the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
On behalf of everyone in Eighth Western Rivers, Division 15 I would like to welcome you. We have 114 members in five flotillas reaching from Memphis TN to Fort Smith AR.
The Coast Guard’s philosophy is to be SEMPER PARATUS (ALWAYS READY) against all threats and hazards. The Coast Guard Auxiliary is an integral part of that philosophy. We conduct safety patrols on local waterways, assist the Coast Guard with homeland security duties, teach boating safety classes, conduct vessel safety checks, as well as many other activities. We serve alongside our active duty shipmates as communications watch standers, uninspected passer vessel inspectors, training resources for air and sea operations, numerous duties related to environmental protection and homeland security, and even as chefs.
We are always looking for new members to share in the proud traditions and missions of the U.S Coast Guard Auxiliary and the U.S. Coast Guard.
