Our People

Flotilla 56’s most valuable asset is its members. All unpaid volunteers, our Coast Guard Auxiliarists come from all walks of life … corporations … non-profits … religious ministries … emergency services … retirement. Several members previously served on active duty in the military. Among our members are veterans of all five U.S. armed services as well as the Indian Air Force. All members share a desire to serve their community and country through volunteerism.
