Sea Partners

Sea Partners is the Coast Guard’s environmental education and outreach program focused on communities. The goals include raising community awareness of marine pollution issues, motivating public conservation of the marine environment and improving compliance with marine environmental protection laws and regulations.

The Sea Partners program is open to all Auxiliarists! You do not need to hold any specific qualification to support the goals of Sea Partners. A Sea Partners facilitator acts as an educator/presenter on topics such as marine pollution, invasive species, clean boating practices and environmental stewardship.

Look for opportunities to support the Sea Partners program during public outreach events, recreational boating safety classes, Vessel Safety Checks, and Program Visitor trips.
