District Eight, Eastern Region will be adding an additional Assistant District Staff Officer for Human Resources to the team soon.

The District is seeking a Motivated, Innovative, and Team Player with experience in Human Resources joining our team as Assistant District Staff Officer for Human Resources. Following supervisory direction from DCOS, and DSO-HR, the member will be responsible for Recruiting and Retention. Primary duty will be developing from outside sources and National Mentoring Program a District Eight Eastern Region Mentoring Program and being administrator of this program.
Secondary duty will be assist in other areas of HR. Motivation, Innovation, Communication, energy, and Team Player are key words that will be considered. Please respond as soon as possible so that this position can be filled.

On 14 July 2018 there was a cardboard boat regatta at Voice of America Park in West Chester, Ohio. Division 5 entered a boat that was designed by the team ! Their performance was outstanding Receiving the Judges Choice Award and finishing second in their heat!
