Flotilla 082-04-01, nestled in the heart of Central Kentucky within District 8 Eastern, Division 4, boasts a proud and storied history spanning over eight decades. As the oldest Flotilla in the division, our origins date back to November 1940 when a group of passionate individuals came together to support the Coast Guard and their fellow Kentuckians.

Throughout our 80-year journey, Flotilla 082-04-01 has been unwavering in its commitment to promoting boating safety and protecting our waterways. We have made a significant impact in the community by offering educational classes, conducting vessel safety checks, and participating in safety patrols on the picturesque lakes of Central Kentucky, including Herrington Lake and Lake Cumberland.

Our enduring legacy recently caught the attention of the Coast Guard Auxiliary National Commodore, who honored Flotilla 082-04-01 with a prestigious recognition for 80 Years of Service. This accolade is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our past and present members, as well as the strong foundation upon which our Flotilla is built.
