Surface Operations and Rescue Survival System (RSS) Programs

     
Flotilla 17-6 has a robust surface operation program with 9 surface facilities and over 22 coxswains and boat crew members. In order to ensure compliance with USCG instructions and policies regarding surface operations and the RSS program, the following policy information is provided in addition to the instructions available on the R-Directorate Response Surface Program and Document Info website. Any Flotilla policies provided are administrative in nature and shall not supersede or alter in any way the USCG instructions or USCG District 7, USCG Sector Jacksonville, or USCG Station Port Canaveral requirements.

The link below is for the R-Directorate Response Surface Program Manuals and Document Info website.  This website contains all of the surface operations manuals including the RSS maintenance procedures cards (MPCs) needed to inspect the PPE.  In order to access the RSS MPCs, you will need to log in with your Auxiliary identification number and password in the "Member Zone".  The RSS MPCs will appear at the bottom of the webpage.
