Business Meetings

Business meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at the US National Guard Armory in Crystal River. For more information, use the Calendar tab at the left.

Fellowship Dinners

Flotilla members, spouses, and guests gather on the third Wednesday of each month for an informal dinner meeting at an area restaurant. For more details, use the Calendar tab at the left.

Boating Courses & Public Education

Our Flotilla is proud to offer a full schedule of USCG Auxiliary courses such as About Boating Safely, Boating Skills & Seamanship, Paddlesports America, and GPS for Navigators.

Our Public Education Officer is also available to design a Safe Boating program, Water Safety program, or other presentation tailored for your school, organization or club. We can also arrange for Guest Speakers at your at club or organization. For full details, refer to the Boating Courses and Public Education tabs at the left.

*"WEAR IT" kick-off picnic – May 20 (Sat.) 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Crystal River Preserve State Park by the water

*"WEAR IT" photo op - all participants bring and wear PFD's for national picture 11:30 AM

*Proclamation presented by Crystal River City Council and Citrus County Commissioner - May 20 11:30 AM

*Electronic roadway sign - "Life jackets float. You won't. WEAR IT!"
All week – along Rte. 19

*Vessel Safety Check event - Ft. Island Trail Bait Shop 8:00 – 10:00 AM

*Recreational Safe Boating Trailer display of safe boating equipment/info – CRPSP dock/parking lot - May 20 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

*WYKE TV - "Citrus Today" show - guest spot discussing NSBW, “Saved by the Beacon” campaign, safe boating, safety equipment, etc.

*"Life Jacket Zone" boat ramps given a fresh coat of paint for NSBW

*"Blessing of the Fleet" -participate in this event sponsored by US Power Squadron – May 27 9:00 - NOON

* PSA for “Saved by the Beacon” campaign on 106.3 FM and 98.5 FM

* U.S. Coast Guard Douglas Munro Memorial Day Ceremony –
