F.2 - USCGAux Roles - Initial and Ongoing Training

 MANDATORY CORE TRAINING (AUXCT)

There exists a higher standard of conduct that can neither be delineated by laws nor defined by regulations. It is the concept of Honor. Just like the active and reserve members of the Coast Guard, Auxiliary Volunteers are also required to complete Core Training. Core Training is made up of six online and open-book tests. This has been comparable to the placement of similar requirements on all other Coast Guard active duty, reserve, and civilian personnel.

Mandatory Courses (Upon acceptance and once every 5-Years)

  1. Workforce Resilience Training (502379)*
  2. Security Fundamentals (810030)
  3. Privacy at DHS: Protecting Personal Information (810015)
