You have made an excellent decision to join Flotilla 67! The most operationally active flotilla on Biscayne Bay! If you are like most of us, you joined to help the US Coast Guard serve the boating community, to deepen your knowledge and skills of boating, and to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow auxiliarists.

The satisfaction that you derive from your membership will be in proportion to your level of participation. Embark upon a program of active participation and constant learning. Attend all our monthly meetings, introduce yourself and chat with our members, explore the areas of service and choose one that may peek your interest. Enroll in the training program of interest to you and serve at least monthly.

  • At Flotilla 67, we strive to live the Coast Guard core values:
    • Honor     Respect     Devotion to Duty

  • Flotilla 67 has a strong history of operational support and proficiency as evidenced by hours of service underway and multiple national, regional and local awards. Our crews routinely work alongside active duty crews from USCG Station Miami Beach and USCG Air Station Miami, Opalocka, in search and rescue cases and helicopter hoist operations.
  • Our public education program leads the nation in public served and our member training closely parallels that of the active USCG. In fact, our active duty liaison commended us recently on how professionally we run our boats and compared us favorably to his active small boat crew team.
  • Vessel exams are consistently at the top of the list and are widely credited with preventing mishaps as well as helping to educate the boating public and our members as to legal requirements.
  • We are increasing our competencies in the marine environment and pollution response as well as in our advances in VHF marine communications.
  • Finally, we are particularly proud of our fellowship in Flotilla 67. We enjoy each others' company and socialize with our families. We all help each other with our programs and activities, and step-up for each other, again and again. In case of emergency, we are there for each other.

Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you frequently and becoming "Flotilla Mates"!
