US Coast Guard Issues Temporary Deviation For L. B. Knox Bridge

 


Ormond Beach, FL – The United States Coast Guard is issuing a temporary deviation for the L. B. Knox Bridge in the Loop.
The bridge that crosses Halifax River in northeast Volusia County (mile 816.0) in the northern part of the Loop will be closed to marine traffic starting from 7:00 am Tuesday, July 24th through 7:00 pm Thursday, July 26th.
The bridge will not open for emergencies and there is no alternate route for large vessels. Any small vessels that can safely pass under the bridge may still do so.
Vehicular traffic over the bridge will not be affected.
