Local Auxiliary Discounts
There are many discounts available to us as Auxiliarists. Two of the most valuable here on the beach are Lowes and Home Depot. Both companies offer a 10% discount to active duty, veterans, and Auxiliarists.
To access these discount programs, you do have to go through a signup process. The steps for both stores are similar.
If you do not have an account with the stores you will need to create us iPad one. On their websites ( or ) look for the “Sign In” or “My Account” buttons. You will use your email address and then create a password. You are now ready to proceed.
One you have an account navigate to the Military Discount webpage.
You will select your service and enter the requested information and have your proof of service handy.

If you are a veteran a DD214, or Discharge certificate works. If you were not in the military take a photo of your Auxiliary ID card. Scan or upload the proof of service as directed on each website. These sites are secure.
Typically, the process is almost immediate. You will receive instructions on how to use your discount. There are also 800 numbers if you need assistance. You can also go to the service desk at either store, with your proof of service, and they will assist you.
