Since 1939 the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary has stood the watch guarding our nations coastline and safeguarding America’s maritime safety and security. From search and rescue to environmental protection and homeland security the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary remains “Always Ready” to respond and stand the watch. We are America's Volunteer Guardians. If you are interested in supporting the United States Coast Guard as a uniformed volunteer please visit the Coast Guard Auxiliary recruiting website below for more information. Guests are also always welcome at flotilla meetings. Coast Guard Auxiliary membership eligibility is below. Security screening and fingerprints are completed as a part of the joining process.
Eligibility to join the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary:
1. Be a U.S. Citizen
2. At or above the age of 17
3. No criminal background
4. Willingness to support the U.S. Coast Guard and Auxiliary
5. Open to all active duty, reserve, and prior service members of the U.S. Armed Forces
