Weather is a vital issue related to recreational boating safety. Be sure to check the current and forecast weather, ideally beginning the day before and immediately before departure on your boating adventure.  Then, regularly check weather forecast routinely during your voyage.

To help make this easy for you CG Auxiliary Flotilla 12-09 offers the following links to weather information in the inland bays area of Delaware. Also marine radios contain frequencies for the automated NOAA weather updates for planning while on the water.
