U. S. Coast Guard Core Values
In the same manner as other armed services of the United States, the US Coast Guard lives by core values that serve as basic ethical guidelines for all Active Duty, Reserve, Auxiliary, and Civilian members. These core values are:

We are professionals, military and civilian, who seek responsibility, accept accountability, and are committed to the successful achievement of our organizational goals. We exist to serve. We serve with pride.
