Who Are We?

How to Join

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary serves as the civilian, non-military component of the Coast Guard. The Auxiliary is an organization of uniformed volunteers. Membership is open to any citizen of the U.S. and its territories and possessions who is 17 years of age or older and a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Association Inc. You must also meet other eligibility requirements and pass a personal security investigation. (Please read full eligibility information here.)

The Upper Manhattan Flotilla (Flotilla 5-11) is active all over New York City but our focus is on the diverse neighborhoods and waterways of northern Manhattan. Visit our Facebook page to learn more about us.
