Area of Responsibility

Division 1 Area of Responsibility 

Division 1 Area of Responsibility ranges from Port Clyde, Maine to Eastport, Maine. This includes the bays, harbors and the Penobscot river. Maine's extensive coastline is a playground for local's and tourist's alike. Recreational boating and the State's commercial fishing industry share these waters with all of beauty it has to offer.  

Crew Member Qualification Exercise

The photographer, John Cuozzo, captured this shot during the joint SAR exercise at the Canadian border in 2014. The two OSCAR's are resting easy on the Auxiliary vessel after being rescued from the cold, September water of the Atlantic. 

US-Canadian Joint Exercise 

This photograph, taken in 2016 by Flotilla 11's John Cuozzo Jr., during a joint exercise with the United States Coast Guard, Royal Canadian Coast Guard, Auxiliarists from both countries and the Royal Canadian Air Force. The training took place on both sides of the US-Canadian border.
