In Memoriam: Edie Wellemeyer
Edie Wellemeyer, one of the founding members of the Lafayette Flotilla, passed away on October 27. During her years with the flotilla, Edie served as Flotilla Staff Officer, Flotilla Commander, and as Division Commander. She will be greatly missed.

Ocean Commotion Recognition
After participating in Ocean Commotion on 28 October, the flotilla received a certificate of recognition from Louisiana Sea Grant. The flotilla has, in fact, participated in every Ocean Commotion event since the event was started.
