What's New at Division Two
We at Division Two are a group of highly motivated and trained United States Coast Guard Auxiliarist.
We at (D2) Division Two, District Seven are a group of highly motivated and trained United States Coast Guard Auxiliarists. We are a Force Multiplier for The Coast Guard and at any given day or time we are in action striving to serve and lead keeping persons safe, educated, trained, and informed. We are a volunteer force of members serving under the Department of Homeland Security.
Currently members are:
On Patrol across Georgia, and South Carolina waterways on a variety of missions.
Teaching Boater Education, navigation, safety, sailing, and operations across our (AOR) area of responsibility.
Program Visitors working with local business and agencies educating, providing, and distributing boater safety information and collaterals.
Performing Vessel Safety Checks to anyone wanting to enjoy a safer boating experience, in which boat owners are provided a checklist of safety points to help them maintain the highest level of vessel readiness.
Supporting Environmental Education to help to provide protection in marine and freshwater environments
Aiding Disaster Relief as Auxiliarists work in and support areas where America calls, supporting the worst of times for Americans.
Participating in America Waterway Watch where members are on the lookout for any nefarious and accidental actions occurring around America's oceans, lakes, rivers and bodies of water.
Performing Special Missions supporting the United States Coast Guard as a force multiplier in all areas of responsibilities with the exception of law enforcement.
Cooking in Culinary roles, where trained Auxiliarists cook for active duty members in air, sea, and land. Members may be assigned on a Coast Guard cutter heading for a tour of Alaska.
Supporting Administration with members keeping all systems and communities maintained at the highest levels.
There are many other activities that are ongoing by highly motivated and highly trained Auxiliarists supporting The United States of America and our nation's call to duty.
