To be a Coast Guard Auxiliarist in Southwest Florida means standing ready to serve both community and country in one of the busiest and most diverse boating regions in America. Auxiliarists here are the eyes, ears, and helping hands of the Coast Guard—teaching safe boating, supporting search and rescue, conducting vessel exams, maintaining vital communications, and protecting our fragile waterways. It’s a commitment to Semper Paratus—Always Ready—whether that means mentoring new boaters, assisting during hurricanes, or providing skilled support to Coast Guard missions. In Southwest Florida, being an Auxiliarist is more than volunteering; it’s answering a call to safeguard lives, strengthen readiness, and uphold a proud maritime tradition.
