Water N' Kids course is designed to enhance safety, skills, and knowledge for students ages 8 to 10 years (third and fourth grade). It teaches basic water safety topics to young students, including swimming safety, boating, rip currents, life jackets, safe environment, among other topics.

The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary will be teaching these classes on the following dates and locations

 Saturday May 10th, 2025, at the Potomac Library located at 10101 Glenolden drive, Potomac, Maryland 20854 Class begins 3:00pm - 4:00pm

 Wednesday May 20th, 2025, Gaithersburg Library located at 18330 Montgomery Village Ave. Gaithersburg, Maryland 20879 Class begins 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Thursday May 22nd, 2025, Bethesda Maryland, located at the Connie Morella Library located at 7400 Arlington Rd, Bethesda, Maryland 20814 Class begins at 4:00pm -5:00 pm

Saturday May 24th, 2025, Olney Laytonsville Rd, Olney, Maryland 20832 Class begins at 11:00 am - 12:00 PM

United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla will hold several National Safe Boating Week Events.

All are welcome to attend, and we invite you to do so.

• Tuesday May 20th, 2025, at the Gaithersburg Library, 18330 Montgomery Village Ave, Gaithersburg, MD - 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
• Wednesday May 21st, 2025, at the Maggie Nightingale Library at 19633 Fisher Ave, Poolesville, MD 20837 - 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM 
• Thursday May 22nd, 2025, at the Connie Morella Library at 7400 Arlington Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814 - 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
• Friday May 23rd, 2025, at 10101 Glenolden Dr, Potomac, MD 20854 - 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 054-24-08 will be conducting a PA/PE boating or paddle craft safety class at Fort Detrick US Army post.

You will need a pass or a cac card to attend,
