Welcome to our Flotilla 7-2 website!
The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is a diverse and dedicated group who have volunteered their time, talents and skills to assist the U.S. Coast Guard with its various missions. These missions include Search and Rescue, Marine Safety, Maritime Domain Awareness as well as administrative and operational support to local Coast Guard units. Our primary focus is the promotion of boating safety! This is accomplished through the presentation of our boating safety courses, conducting FREE Vessel Safety Checks and providing FREE boating safety literature to the public. Working alongside our U.S. Coast Guard shipmates on Narragansett Bay, we are helping to protect the environment and serving the local boating community as well as our Nation. We make a difference and you can too!
As the 2016 flotilla leadership, we are proud and privileged to be members of this outstanding and highly active flotilla. Flotilla 7-2 is the oldest flotilla in Rhode Island. We have a long and rich history which continues to be written to this day. We do so in keeping with the same dedication, commitment, pride and tradition as those members who have served before us.
Our flotilla meets on the second Wednesday of each month in East Providence. Please accept our invitation to attend one of our meetings at no obligation. Please click here for driving directions. Take this opportunity to meet our dedicated membership and see what our flotilla does to make a difference. If you wish to receive more information about the Auxiliary or have someone contact you, please click here. Whether you enjoy boating, have skills to contribute or want to learn new ones, please consider becoming part of an outstanding team: The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary! It's where ordinary people are doing extraordinary things!
Sincerely, Scott Campbell -- Flotilla Commander 7-2, 1st Northern Region
